About this organization
The District Architecture Center (DAC), in the heart of DC’s Penn Quarter District, is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The DAC Events Manager is responsible for external rentals at the DAC. This includes marketing and maintaining the space, planning for and running the events, and managing event assistants.

Needed skills and responsibilities include:

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Keep detailed records about clients
  • Ability to market the space effectively
  • Work with staff to coordinate scheduling of the space
  • Resolve maintenance issues promptly
  • Coordinate with vendors and accept deliveries

DAC offers stylish and versatile meeting rooms, classrooms, and special event facilities that are available for rent to groups ranging in size from just a few people to as many as 375 guests.

The Center's award-winning open design is inspiring and features glass walls and floors that provide natural light throughout.
