London Ecocity World Summit 2023 takes place on 6-8 June. Ecocity World Summit is the pioneer global conference on sustainable cities. Every two years it brings together urban stakeholders from across the globe to focus on key actions cities and citizens can take to rebuild our human habitat in balance with living systems.
As Summit Director you will lead the local organising, programme, and academic committees. These advisors will support you in your task to curate a large and dynamic 3-day hybrid summit programme, based on established key themes and strategic framework. You will build on high-level relationships with senior partners to ensure beneficial value exchange and integrity of the programme. You will act as client to delivery partner MCI and be accountable for the summit commercial strategy, ensuring the ambitious and evolving programme is delivered on budget.
This role is a part-time Maternity Cover contract.
You are passionate about sustainable futures and urban environments, with demonstrable industry knowledge. You will be a public advocate for NLA and Ecocity; you are a confident speaker and moderator of discussions, with a strong network. Tangible experience in programming and delivery of a complex, large-scale event is essential, as is experience in high-level commercial decision-making. You are experienced in managing a suite of multi-disciplinary partners and agencies.
