Washington Architectural Center

Through its many programs the Washington Architectural Foundation demonstrates how design improves the quality of life for everyone in the Greater Washington, DC metropolitan region. Through the work of 3 employees and over 200 volunteers, we strengthen our community with architectural education enrichment programs in public and private school classrooms. We work with nonprofit organizations to help them realize their visions. We empower people, young and old, to become advocates for good design in their communities. In addition to exhibitions, lectures, and K-12 education programs, the Washington Architectural Foundation provides pro bono design services hosts CANstruction annually.
