Senior Curator with the Getty Research Institute Christopher Alexander participated as a panelist in the 2013 AAO Conference session entitled "Architecture Exhibitions: New Models for Collaboration." The core of Alexander's remarks revolved around the Getty's recent exhibition, "Overdrive: LA Constructs the Future, 1940-1990" and its extensive programming partnership with LA arts and culture outlets through the Pacific Standard Time Presents initiative. Part of the closing session at the 2013 AAO Conference, current architecture school student Adalene Tan presented about her summer internship with CultureNOW in Boston. As a capstone event, CultureNOW interns in Boston, Los Angeles, and New York City orchestrated a 30-presenter virtual Pecha Kucha event connecting audiences in a three-city live internet broadcast. A future leaning event format that may soon become standard fair for those architectural organizations eager to expand their programming and audience reach.

Clocking in at approximately 25-minutes, the film is heavy on student and professor interviews and serves as a useful introduction for high school students interested in pursuing a formal architectural education. The film is available for public screenings, with usage fees generally waived for K-12 educators.
