Friends of Architecture Santa Fe

About Us

We create informed and insightful conversations about the impact of architecture and design on our city, our communities, our past and our future. Our public events are open forums for design professionals, policymakers, creatives and the public to come together and participate in mutual discussion, education and visioning exercises.

Our Programs

We organize and host design charrettes, lectures + workshops, architecture tours and PechaKucha. All of these programs are free of charge and open to the public.

Our Story

Friends of Architecture Santa Fe was established in 2012 by members of the Santa Fe Chapter of the American Institute of Architects with a public outreach and education mission. Today, our multidisciplinary board is comprised of architects and allied design professionals who are dedicated to advancing inclusive design dialogue about Santa Fe’s built environment. We are invested in cultivating a vibrant design culture and promoting the importance of beauty, critical thinking, vision and creative play in ethical and intentional placemaking.
